Question by Jenny: I have a ” friend” that is 22, has 5 kids, w/ a boyfriend who has a huge drug addiction & kids don’t come 1st
She has been thru alot in her life and doesn’t see the problem any longer. One child is disabled, and her mom takes care of the whole family. Cooks all them dinner everynight, gets-up w/ her children everyday ect. Her 2 bed apt. is horribly filthy and so are the children. She is in preventitive services thru child protective services so nothing is being done for these kids. I love these kids and haven’t the heart to help her anylonger because she uses Me. And because The kids are so neglected emotinally it makes my stomach turn. WHAT CAN I DO?????? I need some serious advice!!!!! Their future depends on it because their g-ma is losing her mind. I have tried to talk to them all, nothing works. And frankly, I am tired of seeing, & smelling the filth. Also I feel doing nothing is a tragedy in itself. Please give me some advice!!! Thank-You. This is about those kids and not about your friend. You’ve got to report this. She obviously doesn’t care about herself, why would you think she’d care about her kids? Sad….
